Is there a method for using the ps3 to rip ps1 and ps2 disc images similar to the rip blueray method, meaning using linux and external hard drive? Or perhaps and easier method?
 
    Im looking to get better quality rips than my pc can provide. Most of my kids games are favorites from childhood and have been unplayable in the ps1 for years but the ps3 reads them all when my pc wont.

    Im working with a windows xp pc and a 60 gig launch ps3 with 1.50 fw.
