The bottom 2 links are active, but all they link to is an empty password protected Rar. I doubt there is anything more to come from this group.

More more encouraging is the rumour that fw 2.10 (and below) can be patched to artificially lower just the fw version. Then you can 'upgrade' to lower official version. But there are high chances 2.17 and above no longer permit that. So, I still suggest to secure a ps3 with fw<2.10 whatever future supposed hacks require...
(installing infectus to patch firmware won't be pleasant nor easy! but may allow to swap firmware versions for rsx homebrew and not too recent original games. if you have money it's simpler to get two ps3's one for coding, one for playing)
