Out of interest, does anyone know how much Sony make from each BluRay movie sold?

I think that depends on the deals negotiated with each studio.  But if Sony can hands down beat out the competition, then those studios that did not hop on the BD bandwagon can be in for some serious royalty payments.

So this would work like the PS2 HD loader? Or would we need to transfer the files to the PS3 through the internet or PC? Also to play online you'd prob  need the real disc. correct?

I've got a US v1.31 PS3, and I'm ready to work on GPU driver...

But I wait for the Paradox exploit description. I have the feeling one of the SPE's that hypervisor is keeping away from Linux grasp is used like vu1 is used on ps2, i.e a 'vertex shader' pre-processor feeding RSX GPU.
So it may be necessary to use the exploit to unlock the access to that last SPE (i.e the 7th, since the 8th is faulty and non officialy existing).

For those interested in NVidia RSX, try to not update your firmware until we know more about the exploit (be strong and resist the envy...)

(I remind you the potential reward : +256 Mb of VRAM!)
