I was in my local futureshop yesterday and they where playing Lord of War on the samsung blu-ray player, they had it setup with the Sony SXRD for some reason, looks really sweet, better then the movies ive seen on the Samsung LCD TV's

I went to Best buy last night and i saw a tv running a blu ray player next to an a tv running a hd-dvd player

The Blu-ray player was very impressive, it was plaing the RV movie and it was very very nice, amazing image, amazing color contrast

BUT the hd-dvd player was playing King Kong... All i could say was daaammnnn. It was so amazing, the colors, the video display, it wasn't much sharper than a blu ray but it was still an overall better picture. It was eye popping. And its half the price.
