I fixed a YLOD 60gb a while ago and couldnt figure out how the small metal clip lines up so it holds on the sliding lid.

I can get it in a certain way but it just seems to allow the lid to move still even when screwed.

Pics would help, thanks.

if i remember correctly it goes like this

it is slightly loose but the screw will keep in place and tight.

No, but it probably wouldn't be too hard to make one. Installing the clip you basically lay it down sideways so it makes a "J" with the hole facing where the screw goes, of course.
