hi all - sorry if this has been discussed or if i have posted in the wrong place.

i have a ps3, fairly old i would say. think it has a 60 gig drive in it, not sure?

im trying to play ps1 games on it, im not connected to the net with it.

when i insert the games  (originals) they wont load up. nothing happens at all

do i need to download something to update to make it work? im not sure about the firmware of the ps3 as i brought it second hand and have not got any instruction manuals or anything like that

any help would be much appreciated.

on the back of the ps3 there is a sticker which has the model number (stating with CECH), what is the model?
