Hi folks, quick question here.

I previously was an XBMC user (on original XBOX) and was happy to upgrade to my PS3.

Sadly, I'm finding it inferior so far!  But I think this is more MY fault, like user error, than it just being worse.

Basically, this is my problem...  Let's say I have PS3 Media Server or TVersity running (I've tried both), and I browse through my large MP3 library and start playing a song...

Let's say I want to seek immediately to about the 4 minute mark...  How the hell do I do it?

The only form of fast-forwarding I've found so far is the awful R2 button, which for some reason slowly fast forwards with an audible preview, often skipping in between.   I want to literally know how to jump to a different section of the song.  In XBMC, I would just move the RIGHT THUMBSTICK either left or right to seek through the length of the entire song quickly, but it appears there is no such thing for me in PS3.

Hopefully I am just using the wrong method!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am looking forward to making my PS3 my main media player but things like this would be a major hinderance
