Hotswap Problem

After succesfully doing a hotswap yesterday , got a bit of courage and tryed to do the same on another couple of xboxes i have lying around . The problem is none will connect anymore , they go after a while on to error 21 , and xplorer360 sais Could not find drive. I tried to read about the xboxhdm method . All i want is to softmod a good working stock xbox . Any ideas ?

Just an update on this . I found a wonderfull easy tutorial that sais to disconnect the dvd drive from xbox then boot , wait until error 12 comes up than disconnect the hdd than connect it to pc and scan for new hardware in device manager ( if you can't find it , like me , go to View and than click Show hidden devices ) . So , 1 down , will try another . But thats for another topic .
