Ok so I've recieved the Duox2 from the site I linked to in this thread, anyone care to point me to the correct  guide to follow for my 1.6 board?

Also I realise that I will have to do an LPC rebuild... which Im not looking forward to lol.

I have bought a new solder iron(well a kit £5.98 or something) its 30w I hope thats not too high and Im wondering which wire would be most suitable Kynar or single core 1.2mm diameter(rated at 1.8A, 1kV)?

I would recommend getting a 15w if somehow possible. I would be a little bit afraid to do fine trace soldering with a 30w and Ive been doing it for years.

I've built the EEPROM reader 3-4 times now, and always gotten it to work. But usually I have to try several times, turning the XBOX on and off and trying to get a read with Ponyprog 2000, it's tricky, so hang in there.

Last time I built this, it was for a friend who paid me to make him one. I tried to make it tight and compact.

I just clip the ground clip to the side of the XBOX chassis. The SDL and SCA wires are green and yellow respective to the diagram from the tutorial by Unicron. Which I printed out and put beside my workbench. I then used a label maker (not shown in photos) to label them and the front.
