Wanting To Upgrade From Stock Ide To Ata133.

ok,
im thinking about upgrading my stock IDE cable in my xbox to ATA133.
but is it really worth it?
does it really make data transfur faster?..

why should i upgrade...and what cable should i upgrade to?

I've heard that the xbox supports up to ata100 speeds, but 1hotjob is right; whether or not it *is* faster and whether or not it makes an appreciable difference are debatable.

Honestly Apple, they just look good. I used to think they was good
for performance too, but there not.

Replacing your original cable with a ata166 will improve your load and data transfer times but only by a second or so. Its hard to tell the difference. But the ata 166 is not needed unless you are using a pc harddrive. The original hdd restricts data transfer to 100 ata. I read all this on some website and they even timed different configs.
