We need to list to fully evaluate how good 1000 games is, but at this point it's clearly a better start than MS. MS shouldn't get more credit just because the XBox has fewer games. The games don't emulate themselves, the people working on the BC still have to test each of the games they put on the list.

all things aside at least we know we can believe MS when they say things... now just because sony says oh we got 1000 games doesnt mean we should believe it... i mean look who its coming from Sony or their PR... neither of which have a good credible track record as of late. laugh.gif

and another point keep in mind the caliber of most PS2 games compared to xbox games (in terms of size graphics and difficulty to emulate)... never mind the fact its easier for sony to emulate ps2 games than it is for MS to emulate xbox games

I told you MS was dropping the ball on BC:  Link

Dropping the ball or saying "we hit on all the titles people really seemed to want, short of us going back for NHL 2k2 we think we're going to wind up what we have and call it good"?

I know there's going to be a few titles people still want to see BC that won't come, but seriously, is it that big of a deal over a year since their launch?

If the PS3 had a decent library of games I don't think Sony fanboys would be so upset. Then if Sony hadn't been so arrogany over emulation Microsoft and Nintendo fanboys wouldn't be laughing.

The PS3 really needs BC in some form or another to at least attempt to satisfy those early adopter when they get tired of Resistance or Motorstorm. I mean is anything else out there even considered decent as far as their generation gaming offerings go?
