As far as im concerned, the only game ive enjoyed playing on the 360 thus far is Gears of War, but who doesnt enjoy running a chainsaw through their enemies? Alan Wake is looking damn good as well. Perhaps 2007 will surprise me, but im not purchasing the 360 untill they get to 3.0

he was asked what games (other then BC games) was there to play on the ps3. In no way was i being an ass, i only tried to keep us all on the same page, so watch your words. the 360's "BC problems" did not effect me at all at launch or even now, any xbox game i care about is BC and besides, if your relying on BC titles with your new system then that is proof alone to the lack of original content. so what was the point of going out of your way of bashing the competition when im the one trying to keep it a fair playing field? the fact still stands ALL 3 systems would have a better catalog of games to play at launch if BC is included.

unless they get HD-DVD drive speeds fast enough to read 360 games as fast as a 12X DVD drive, dont expect an internal drive. what difference does it make anyways? your bluray all the way, the lack of an internal HD-DVD drive in the 360 is just one of your many excuses not to get the system at all.

with so much good games on the 360, the BC problems is not really significant. Honestly, when games like crackdown, lost planet, GOW and many others are out for the system then why go back and play those dated games?

On the Ps3 though its more important cause other than resistance, there is ummm......ummm...full auto!

honestly, there is not alot to be happy about right now and if you are then your just easily pleased.

I have a firmware hacked 360 sitting here with TONS of games to choose from to play. I have a Wii that has grown old on me. And then there is this 60gb PS3. I can honestly say that I spend much more time with the PS3 than the other 2 consoles.

I watch downloaded movies from time to time on my 360 and may load a game up every other week. But for some reason I still find myself playing Blu-ray movies or games on my PS3 every day. I have played thru Resistance 3 times and online all the time. Call of Duty 3 is more fun to play on the PS3 over the 360. Hell I even have a fondness for Dark kingdom even though it got bad reviews. I use my PS3's web browser to download and watch/listen to my favorite podcasts and so on.

I too was skeptical of the PS3 and took my turns bashing something I did not try for myself first hand. I can see how much potential the system has and I am excited to watch as it matures and morphs into yet another kick ass console.

I just don't understand how people can grow to hate an in adamant object. Did the PS3 call you little nerdy names or something? Does it somehow make your weenie seem small and useless?

But then again for the first 6 months of the 360 all I got done hearing is PS3 fanboys bash my 360 so what comes around goes around I guess.

I actually have a launch PS3 and I just have had a better experience with my 360. Your entitled to your opinion and so am I. I however don't understand why you would choose two games over TONS of games to play.

I to am also excited about the PS3 someday becoming a kick ass console, and I continue to wait and wait and wait.....

How so? The 360 version has had better reviews and has more content, graphics, and higher framerate than that of the PS3 version. Whether it's online, smoothness of gameplay, or vivid colors, the 360 definetely beats the PS3 in Call of Duty 3 unless you think twisting the controller to melee people makes up for all of that.

How about having an extreme dislike for the console? And having a severe antagonism for Sony? Sony causes alot of dislike in this forum alone because of all of their false-hype and undelivered promises. What's not to hate (DISLIKE).

Well the achievements mean nothing to me. It is bias towards those that can play games 24/7. As for online I would rather play online on the PS3 for free than pay M$ to play online with the 360. Also having played CoD3 on both the 360 and PS3 I don't noticed any difference at all on both my HDTV's and I do like the small use of the twisting the controller to melee people.

I do happen to like ALL my consoles and would be hard pressed to give up any one of them if I had to. And yes Sony as a company has made some very big mistakes with there over the top statements just like M$ and other companies have done for ages. While this is inexcusable it does not change the fact that the PS3 is one very impressive machine. And if Sony can hold of the hacks for a couple years developers will look to Sony as the console to choice if they wish to keep the pirates at bay from their losses do to piracy from the 360. However unlikely that will be.

With the exception of resistance, your list gave me a good chuckle.

Motostorm, Lair, and heavenly sword all do look very good. But as of right now, the 360's selection of good games smoke the ps3, and not only matches what the ps3 has to offer in this year, but surpasses it (Halo3, Mass Effect, Fable 2, Bioshock).

Have you played CoD3 MP online on both the ps3 and 360? Because on the ps3 the online MP is horrible compared to the 360's, in terms of options, downloads, and ease of use. It's funny you use CoD3 as a comparison, because the ps3's online mp disadvantages is very apparent.

I'd rather pay about $4 a month for good online experience, then a FREE crippled online experience.

If we where all smart, we would do the reverse... admit the faults and refuse to buy any companys product that is sold under lies and false marketing. This would cause a faster rise of games and a lower price. Utimately sending a mesage to Sony and others that we are not a bunch of sheep they seem to make us out to be.

Instead, I keep seeing people trying to insist it is something it's obviously not.

But then again I could be wrong..

It's funny how sony built up the hype then now say people expectations are too great. I think the PS3 is a huge disappointment considering Sony is the market leader with the PS2. A year delay should of seen more refinement and many more titles, not just at launch but in the months leading after. The system is good enough to make great games, it just wasn't this great all powerful gaming console Sony wanted people to beleive. Expectations have now been lowered by 4 months of disappointment and it now seems people are beginning to appreciate their $600 purchase. Kudos.
