With the aimed 1mil across Eu and 300k for UK I wouldn't bet on seeing launch day sell outs. But I do see them making the shipment target.

all flaming aside, i question whether or not sony can even afford to do a price drop anytime soon.  with them already estimated to be losing around 1.7 billion during the fiscal year, i question if they will really be willing to lost even more money for marketshare that may not come.

They might have to.

If they plan on loosing $50 and making $100 from add-on sales from each individual console sold. If they are not selling, even at a $50 loss, they might have to change it to a $75 loss. They will still project profits in the long run. It will just take a little longer than they planned.

All businesses know, you have to keep stock moving to make any money, even if it is at a loss. You cannot make money by taking up shelf space.

Thats what i thought i just noticed it says he has a 360 in his sig.  

And on topic the ps3 has to do well for them to pricecut, and that shit ain't happening.
