By the way, he doesn't need to clarify (Pheidias) cause it was quite obvious what he was saying. XBAND clarified and its quite obvious they are not saying the samething.

He is an easy target though cause he never passes an oppurtunity to bash the 360. That irks alot of ppl. I mean there are ppl here that has a 360 and are also interested in the wii/ps3 (namely myself) and since im happy with my 360 its hard to just let a guy that admittedly doesn't own a 360 jump on the table and say "ill take anything over a 360". Whether thats what he means or not, thats what he comes off as.

I'd still say my comment is true, the ps3 launch games look better then the x360 ones. I didn't say that the ps3 is better for it, I didn't say it no no, but as soon as I say anything about the ps3 and x360, I get 5 people jumping up screaming foul.

Nobody is saying it isn't true, we are just saying its an unfair comparison. You mentioned how that comparison hasn't been "touched upon" well thats because its unfair. Why you are being labelled biased? well cause only someone biased against the 360 would make that comparison.

Listen we all walk a tight rope on these forums, just have to learn to pick your battles properly. If your gonna argue, make su8re you can back it up (and make sure it makes sense) or you'll get eaten alive (like kira) or atleast preyed upon.

Yes it is, and ill tell you why. From a consumer point of view, when I go into the store to choose which action game im going to buy im not gonna say Resistance vs. PD0, Im gonna be looking at Resistance vs. GOW. PD0 is old and half the price of Resistance, plus its just not what ppl are looking for this season. What really matters are the new games coming out now. GOW is definitely a more impressive looking game than Resisitance graphically, no amount of sony bias is gonna cover that up. So I think it is fair to compare GOW to Resistance cause thats the direction my wallet is going.

The only conceivable way someone would compare an old game to a new game is either, there is no other choice or someone wants to use that comparison in their favor. Hardly an objective point of view IMO.

Too be objective you still need to keep in mind that launch titles is launch titles. Just look at all consoles one year after launch you sometimes can't even believe the games run on the same console.

And I'm not saying the ps3 games look good, cos many of them don't, but they do look better then the games that launched with the x360. The question is how long will it take if ever will the ps3 catch up to x360.

It just funny how no matter what I say it gets concieved one way, and people run in and try to defend their console when there really is no need.

I just hope someday people can agree on obvious stuff like this without feeling the need to add a but...

Ported all platform games aren't as fun to compare since they aren't developed for one system in mind.

Forza 2 is q1 2007 GT hd is q2. So acctually not tight enough to get a real good comparison

All in all I will post pictures from the party and also the pictures of the working booths.

But the system faired verry well, and was responsive. ohh i also heard somethign very suprising from the toy's'rus folks that made me smile. Three people were starring at nba live 2k7 and were all wowing it and saying it looks so good and better than the 360 and all. the toy's'rus rep then asked them if they wanted to get a ps3. they all said yes and he procedded to ask them what type of games are they interested in they all said the sporting games. he then told them that it was pointless to buy the ps3 because the ps3 graphics is basically the same as the 360. they all told him he was wrong so he moved away fromthe ps3 stand and took them to the xbox360 stand, and they were all like wow, it all looks alike. so the rep then told them they could buy the 360 for up to $200 chepaer unless they were interested in blu ray. then all the customers were like blu-ray.. what is bluray he then smiled and told them that the ps3 was not worth it.

The expression on the people was priceless. but for the first time i have met a rep who has given excellent information to the customers. thumbs up to the toy's'rus guys

You think comparing a native 360 title to a PS3 game that is a PS2 port is a good comparison?
