I installed a Maxtor 500 gig hdd today
Moved eveything from the old 250 to my pc   Movies & Pictures.
Started installing games again.  
Not sure if this part has anything to do with it  but.......
Project 8 disc has a bad spot & it couldnt be read
Deleted Project 8 and went back to start dvd2xbox back.
Now everything in F apps and videos is missing.
500gig hdd reads only 230gig free  so the stuff is still there but I can't see it.
Yes I looked in every folder  and it's just not there  (the file names  but the space is used)

What is going on.  I installed the XBMC-2.0.1-FINAL-FAT-T3CH  

Everything worked find  but  something just went krazy.

Any help PLEASE OH PLEASE.   All my movies were on there

forgot to format the damn drive to 32

Did you have to format your 250gig to 32k?

Only partitions over 256gb need to be formatted with 32kb clusters. If this isn't done, they work "correctly" until you actually try putting that much data on them...

No the 250 was pop it in & poof  
this made me lose 150+ gigs of movies.
Good thing I have my music &  pictures saved in 4 places.

And thats what happen  I went over the 256gig mark & shit hit the fan.
There is NO way to get the data back.  I tried all the little tools from that place we don't say.
Oh well, i'll just have to start over.  Won't be the first time.

I formated the hdd reinstalled everything   pulled the f: apps from the xbox
Then formated F with 32 & put everything back on f.
Trying to put 256+ gigs on it so I can see if i'll be safe to start over with the movies.
Other wise i'll just pull the damn 500 & go buy another 250  & sale 1 of my sata drives.
Anyone want to buy a sataII drive  200 & 320  maxtor & seagate
