Agreed somewhat. They have every right to advertise and hype a game before it is released -- that won't be for a while after all -- but people should take these things with a grain of salt. It's just that the people who report the news find these kinds of things good bullet points to create stories about since a description of the game itself would fall under the "preview" category more than news. I posted the video where this was mentioned, and you may notice it was a rather unemphasized point. While the video did have a good deal of technical explanation, there was also a lot of gameplay mixed in. That said, there are a lot of people who are interested in the technical nature of games (such as other developers). Even though gameplay is a crucial part, Guerrilla may not want to reveal everything about it at this time, and assuming it is bad (which it doesn't appear to be) they can at least hype things it does very well. Wow. Well Game Rankings' average of 73% would disagree with you. Even so, I think I may have said this before, but I don't see how it could be described as anything less than mediocre. It may have flopped, however, as I do not have any sales numbers on it.

What are you talkin bout willis? I have fit over 900 megs on a 700 meg cdr through over burning. WIth the cds and drive I currently have I easily pull out 850 every time no questions asked by changing  length of the pits and lands used for data bits.

hahahaha reading this thread has made me realize just HOW MANY xbox fan boys there are on this site. i mo its called xbox scene but seriously come on!! half of you a slating games before they are released but if some1 came here and bashed halo 3 you'd be straight on their ass telling them how amazing its gonna be (tbh the beta was shite)
and who really really cares about graphics?? seeing a few jaggies doesn't spoil my gaming experience i jsut switched to hd myself and to be honest im not all that impressed. everyone kept telling me to get hd its the best your gonna see ever (yeah for another 5 years....)
i have the xbox 360 and the ps3 and the ps3 is better imo... it all works perfect from the box, the 360 has a very slow dash and freezes alot when accessing blades (mine crashed within the first hour)  my ps3 has never crashed and i can hardly hear it at all either.
if you guys didn't work your self up over hype and belive everything the media feeds u then you wouldn't get so disappointed! its pretty damn pathetic how so many of you can bash a fantastic console because a few games don't run a 1080p. i wonder how many of you have actually sat down and played a ps3? not just picked up a pad on a store demo machine.

like some guy said warhawk is only 798mb and only £20 the graphics are really nice and the effects are awesome its 1 of the best online games ive ever played and to me it blows gears of bore out of the water!!!!
stop being such fan boys and stop believing everything the media feeds you. i believe that if MS released a house brick with a halo sticker on it then most of you would buy it and try to convince us its so leetzors and pwns the ps3.......

I somewhat agree. Warhawk is in fact my favorite game, I love it. Its great man. But the PS3 is in no way the better system at the moment. The 360 has a lot more games, many must have titles, and live, well there is nothing else like live, its great for gaming. My ps3 has warhawk, motorstorm, rfom and nothing else atm. I hope the PS3 does better as I enjoy the system, but right now I have to say the 360 beats it hands down. This coming from a very bias gamer that hopes all systems do well to better gaming if nothing else.

And no one will dare bash halo 3, you cant bash it, as the 1st and second were both amazing. You have to buy the fact that the 3rd one will be just as good. You have to eat it, until you see otherwise. Der. I agree though, there is nothing out there right now that can touch warhawk, the game is fucking amazing man. My favorite game of 2007 so far. But they need to fix the god damn stats so I can go up in rank again.

imo halo 2 blows, halo 1 was good but halo 2 sucked. the halo 3 beta was better then halo 2 online but still not much fun

So using your logic there is no reason to buy killzone 2 if you don't care about the graphics. The gameplay looked like a hundred other average FPSs out there.

You aren't kidding anyone when you say: "i jsut switched to hd myself and to be honest im not all that impressed". Either you have the wrong settings on your TV, you need glasses, or you are lying. Even the Wii looks twice as good on a 480p widescreen TV compared to a 480i CRT.

no im not lying when i say it doesnt look all that impressive.
wow it smooths out the edges and makes it sharper/bolder etc it does nothing to the graphics.... and yes my settings are correct.
i never even said i was gonna buy killzone 2 i never even played killzone 1...
im just saying that graphics mean nothing in a game, alot of you guys seem to bash games and/or consoles (mainly the ps3) because they have jaggies or dont run at a constant 60fps...
im not in anyway shape or form a fan boy. ive owned every console since the atari and i still own them all now. the ps3 has some great games even tho there are only a handfull and the 360 has some great games (gears and halo not being 1 of them imo) but at the end of the day id sit and play my games on a 5" black and white battery powered tv aslong as the game play was good!! i still play crazy climber because its fun and addictive.... i played through gears once and tossed it aside to let collect dust.

but this forum really is ANTI ps3 this section shouldnt exist there only seems to be a few of us that actually own the system to no what its like and look forward to updates/hacks the rest of you just come here to flame it.
