I remember seeing topics in this forum not many months ago about Oblivion looking so much better on the PS3 and it having 1080p native resolution etc.

Did any of that happen, or was it a rumor? How MUCH better does Oblivion look on PS3 than 360?

It's in 720p only. I think the draw distances have been improved slightly, but I have also heard scattered reports of slightly lower quality textures.

Basically, get it for the PS3 if:

1) Your PC isn't robust enough to play it (PC version is best)
or
2) You don't have it and a 360 already.

They patched it for 360 and it looks even better. Seriously this game is just nuts and ive been playing it almost a year now lol.

are you talking about adding the new shader tech that is used in the ps3 version or just peformance improvements? either way, when did this update come out? i have been wanting to get back into oblivion and complete everything in the expansion pack.
