I assume that many of the people posting here have PS3s... and I assume, like me, most of you are waiting on some good games to finally be launched. So what game is next on everyone's "to buy" list for the PS3?

Personally, most cross platform games I currently plan to buy for 360 thanks to Live and achievements. While I'm not a so-called point whore (i.e. I've never played King Kong just to get the cheap points), I do get satisfaction from seeing the 'Achievement Unlocked' notification. So that limits my purchases for my PS3, but there are still some big titles down the road that I really want... but many are pretty far down that road.

My closest planned purchases are actually PSN games. The first being Calling All Cars. I'm a fan of Jaffe's work, so I have high hopes this will be a good game. Now if only they would quit pushing this game's release back. I'll also likely wind up with Go! Puzzle, but that will be more for the wife than myself. She's a puzzle game junkie. I think my next retail game purchase won't be till June when Lair is released. I'm still not totally sold on it, but I hopeful that it will turn out good.

So what about everyone else?

I am waiting for lair as well, I was going to get motorstorm but felt i would get bored with it so i am holding off. I just sold full auto 2 and firtua fighter 5 they disapointed me.

Right now i have resistance and dark kindom and soem arcade games. Lair looks like it got pushed to the very end of july so the waiting has begun, i hope it is a dam good game.

Killzone 2 is coming in july but i bet it will get pushed as well but that might be good even though the first one sucked wett dog.

Well if Lair and Heavenly Sword go retail in May it will probably be enough to make me buy one, even without a ready hack.

Sony has denied that PS3 titles Lair and Heavenly Sword are due to arrive in May - despite a listing which says otherwise on the official PlayStation website.
Speaking to our sister site, Eurogamer.net, a spokesperson said, "Both those dates are wrong. We haven't got any release dates for those at the moment; they're just pencilled in for 2007."

The PS3 can win over people with the games that they can keep exclusive.

Some good exclusive games that could/are come to the PS3:

God of War
Shadow of the Colossus
Gran Turismo 5
Rachet and Clank
SOCOM
Killzone 2

That is, if the PS3 can manage to stay in the "console wars" until these games come out

The only PS3 Exclusive(for now at least) games that I am looking forward to so far are FF13 and Metal Gear Solid 4. I haven't seen anything else yet that is a GUARANTEED buy for me.

So far, ive got Resistance, Full Auto 2 (was fun for awhile but quit playing it) and motorstorm.

Im waiting on Lair, Heavenly Sword, Calling all Cars, Eye of Judgement, Ninja Gaiden Sigma and G.R.A.W. 2

Ill have to rent Oblivion and the Darkness before I make descions on those.

Games I have little to no information about that im waiting on are (Far Off): Eight Days, WarDevil: Enigma and L.A. Noire.

sad as it may seem , i am looking forward to singstar(was meant to be out next week , but i noticed it appears to have been pushed back by a month

)sony needs to start getting the games out for the ps3 , im starting to lose faith in my one already
