Summed together? Not so much.
There's incredible art (and script) direction in there, somewhere, but there's a vast brick of acid-smoking and weed-based "hey man, wouldn't it be weird if..." laying on top of it.
ART is very subjective, u may dispute his taste you can't argue that what he does isn't art. The visual experience that is packed into his games transcend graphics.
I don't like MGS cause I just think its played out now but you can't take anything away from hideo, he is a unique and talented person.
Besides how many fatmen you see in rollerskates nowadays!?
