Sony Ps3 Official Launch Lineup
« on: October 19, 2006, 07:54:00 PM »

Sony finally gave us the info we needed about their game titles being released this holiday season.

First Party & Exclusive:
* Resistance: Fall of Man
* NBA 07
* Genji: Days of the Blade
* Full Auto 2
* Ridge Racer 7
* Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire
* Untold Legends Dark Kingdom

Third Party/Multiplatform:

* Blazing Angels
* Call of Duty 3
* The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
* F.E.A.R.
* Fight Night Round 3
* Madden NFL 07
* Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
* NBA 2K7
* Need For Speed Carbon
* NHL 2K7
* Rainbow Six Vegas
* Sonic the Hedgehog
* Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07
* Tony Hawk's Project 8

I was surprised to hear that NBA 07 is exclusive, maybe i'm interpreting it wrong

IMO this is a pretty poor lineup, half of these games either are coming out at the same time on a different console or came out several/many months ago. And this launch lineup is even less than the 360 launch lineup.

Pretty poor indeed but when you say less I'm having a hard time following, Xbox360 launched with 18 games and this is 21 games.

Yeah, I think the important part wasn't just 18 titles though, but the fact that 8 of the launch titles were console exclusive.

 i thought that between throughout the holiday season, xbox 360 had 24 titles. Maybe i'm thinking 24 titles through to the fiscal year.

Well it should be exclusive because it is a first part game made by sony. Not to be confused with nba live 07 which is multi platform.

thats probably it, not that i care. Madden and NCAA are the only two sports games i will touch.

yes but on LAUNCH DAY November 22nd 2005 there were 18 games you could buy in the store with the console.  wink.gif

IIRC there were about 12 XBLA titles as well

If you want to look at "launch window" then there were a whole lot more
