I admit when I assume incorrectly, and I did this time. I fully expected you to be a punk who got on google and accidentally came across some site, and in an attempt to show you have knowledge or interest in shooting/ballistics, you posted the url. I apologize.

People are reading your post and seeing CZ and FAL and going wtf is this garbled mess?  

Sucks having a range far away doesnt it? The range I just joined is 65 to 70 minutes away but they are 1 of 2 or 3 in the country that has a 600 yarder where the Marines train. Their Military shoots are impressive to say the least. Im getting into extended long range shooting and building a .300rum soon just for that purpose. I was thinking about a .300LapuaMag but even when reloading the price is outrageous!

I bought the ps2 and gamecubes off ebay "as is"(broken and just for this purpose). Each were 12 or 15.00 and totally worth it to shoot. I pretended the ps2 was Kutaragis head, I slept very well that night   Yes, I have issues, never said I didn't.

**Everyone is complaining about the price of 7.62x51 it seems.

Oh and as for pistols, I shoot and own Sigs, my obsession with them is admittedly unhealthy

Yeah, no range close by sucks.  600yds is nice, I don't fire too many rifles and this talk of shooting make me want to finish the FAL.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)  Damn receivers could be had for $99, now you are spending $400.  I have too many hobbies that suck away my money and have a hard time balancing them out.  Good luck with your .300 build

Finish it and take pics! And I feel your pain on the hobby situation. Shooting/Hunting comes 1st for me(Turkey season opens in 11 days!), Home Theatre and Gaming tie for 2nd, Motorcycles 3rd, with 20 others behind that  

Theres not enough time in the day to do everything, and certainly not enough $$ for it all I got 2 winter jobs just to pay for upcoming 360 games(and extra firearms for that snowy day when I get bored). Only good thing is I'll get 10% off anything. It'll make getting the 360 HD add-on slightly easier seeing as I'll be saving a whopping $20.00

Well.. some of us who just about know dip shit about guns have played Fallout 1+2 and recognize the FAL as a Rifle... one of my favorites    but apart from that.. haven't got a clue....

but as a Med.Student I think Gunshot wound are fascinating in a morbid kind of way.. (I live in Denmark, we don't have that many gunshot wound a year....)
