This has nothing to do with low income, this has to do with the high price tag the PS3 will come equipped with and the fact that the Dev studios really dont like the crappy dev tools $ony is providing them with. The dev studios develop a game on a PC and port it to the consoles usually. Now with the 360 dev tools this is really, really easy to do and it is done in a standard programming logic. For the PS3 the dev tools are a nightmare for the Dev teams, and it doesnt help either that the future of the PS3 is very bleak and uncertain. Hence the hesitation to invest in a system that might have no future. The only way that sony can get itself out of this problem is to drop the price of the console, unfortunately they cant, because they have dropped so much money on developing the system and theyre very deep in the RED.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is how you bury a gaming console.
this has EVERYTHING to do with the low income people. Read the other thread incognegro posted in, that whole rant had to do with him not being able to afford the PS3, and blaming the 360 next-gen prices on the PS3 for what the 360 started in the 1st place.
You can't really say what you just did about development and have full credibility. Explain NIGHTMARE and explain very very easy. I bet 1,000,000 you can't w/o using some sort of book in which you had zero prior knowledge in the 1st place.
Truth is, development on any scale is a nightmare because of time constraints, last minute testing/crams, staff, and so much more that you and I can't begin to understand. We're not developers so you, at least stop talking as if you were a PS3 or 360 dev.
