Planning To Use A Laptop Hard Drive

I am planning on making a smaller sized xbox (like the "xbox mini"), and want to know if the hard drive I am thinking of using will work.  I found this 120g hd on newegg, and it has the "ATA Security Mode".  In theory, will it work, or will I just have to test and find out?
