My Wii
« on: February 12, 2009, 06:58:00 AM »

I probably havent touch my wii in over a year... at least!  it has a wiikey and i can update it to the newest firmware avaible for that original chip. I hear this chip doesn't allow playing of originals or limits the system? should i not update the dash? it hasn't been updated in well over a year. Does the new dash cripple the chip?  Thanks for any tips, I am just WAY out of the loop.  I just some some neat games coming out soon, and thought it might be time to plug it back in. (scorpion stinging a rat in the brain!!!!!!) heheh and maybe house of the dead extreme?

Tons of info at N-S. However, real quick synopsis: Update the WiiKey not the Wii dash. If you can get your Wii dash to 3.2, keep it there.

Games that require newer than 3.2 hack them to work on 3.2.
