d2lite are about the best now but you do have to add the firmware once youve installed the chip but its easy

I would get a Wiikey2, but a Wasabi is a good choice also.

ive installed several wasabis (including my own wii) and never got any complaints, a bit pricier than alternatives, but i like them

its my understanding they work differently than other chips (patching once on drive initialization, as opposed to continually on the fly) not sure if thats necessarily better though

ok got the chips and did the d2c and also done a d2e with 6 wire install and no probs at all
