Hi my daughter was playing the wii and for some unknown reason(thats what she has told me)
the dvd drive has now stopped taking or ejecting the discs when a disc is inserted there is a noise
as if its taking the disc but doesnt is there a catch or something that maybe has going out of alignment
the console works ie screen etc just not the drive any help would be appreciated

You need to take the wii apart and inspect all the drive mech gears. I have a extra drive mech here so i can probably fix it for you.

cheers,i have ordered one of those special screwdrivers so will attempt to dismantle,failing that i have found a company in scotland that can fit a new one for fifty pounds which sounds fair
