hi, i have two diferent manufactures that i am using at the moment, both are dvd-r.
I have PHILIPS 16x and Verbatim 16x. Its amazimg how much difference the make makes. My phillips discs seem to be alot less skitty scatty when reading than my verbatims, however my verbatims seem to spin allot faster.
The phillips disks every now and then cant be read, where as the verbatims i havent had any problems with, however when they read they do sound like the laser is skipping and having to go back on its self.
Either that or its just because its spinning faster. Im a bit worried about the wear it might have on the laser mechanism.
Also phillips discs sound alot more smoother when reading, alot more like the real discs(although still alot noicier)
What dvds are everyone else using??
