I have heard that the D2CKey is "undetectable" compared to other chips.  I am not sure if this is marketing hype or if there is a real logic behind it.  Can someone explain why a D2CKey would be less detectable than the others?

Also I heard that you can't upgrade / configure the chip via DVD.  Is this true?

I am very hesitant to get the D2CKey since it is expensive, complicated, and unupgradeable.  Right now I am considering waiting for another solution but I could definitely justify it if it really is undetectable.  Any advice is good.
