I had my infectus 2 install by somebody else.  I had to open it to install the Ribon cable a week or so ago to do an update (to v1.8 from 1.4)

Here are a couple of pics.

The installer used some Glue or something to keep everything in place.  I dont mind, as I know I dont have to worry about a wire moving, I just hope I would never need any more wires installed!!!

I'm wondering anyones opinion on that.

Ya that looks horrible. I have never used glue and almost never use tape. If you install it right you just dont need it.

Glad its working good. Thats what really counts i guess!

Did you pay much for the install ?

@ whiteblazer, what kind of soldering iron do you use for all your d2c installs? And how do you get the wires to look so neat and organized like that?

Oh and btw, thats really damn impressive ohmy.gif

Dang dude, that is incrediable!  I second that, how do you get the soldering so perfect, and dang how do you get the wires so organized.  You should start a digg on this, I would totally digg it lol
