Im currently awaiting my order of wire and then i should be good to go to install my d2c key..

looking on the site where i bought it from, the diagrams show all wires soldered on to the d2c chip but looking at some of urs lot great installs, some have the wires on the chip next to it?

is there another way of wiring these chips in?

seems like it would be easier rather to solder all those wires to such a little chip

There are some alternative ways to install the D2CKey, but I don't know if they would be any easier, as the soldering work is very small and precise.

Here are some images of the D2CKey installs.  Don't let the large image size fool you, the points are very small (thats why I put a dime in all my install pics).

Thanks!  It usually takes me 1.5 - 2 hours for the mod.  Everyone once in a while I'll get one done in just over 1 hour.

I'll post some more pics up soon, I have a lot more done.

@ whiteblazer, what kind of soldering iron do you use for all your d2c installs? And how do you get the wires to look so neat and organized like that?

Oh and btw, thats really damn impressive ohmy.gif

I also sent him a Wii two weeks ago.  He sent me an email saying he got it.  He said it would be shipped out within two days.  Still no Wii.  Wont return phone calls or emails.  From all of his earlier posts I thought he was a reputable installer.  When I spoke to him on the phone prior to sending my Wii I didn't sense he was going to rip me off.  What are the chances of getting my Wii back?  Anyone have any positive contact with Paul?
