Over six moths ago we told that no plans were in the works to expand the wii forums and were asked not to make any more posts on the topic. However, since then, the Wii has sold like gangbusters and within a week it will likely have the most units sold compared to the other consoles (according to www.vgchartz.com). The Wii has also developed one of the strongest modding communities. There are a variety of modchips, casemods, controller mods, accessory mods, etc. Considering all of the changes that have taken place, I was hoping the mods would reconsider their position. If the sales and modding achievements of the Wii are not enough to justify its graduation into its own form, then please at least let us know what milestone must be reached to deserve such consideration.
