well i have a wii but i dont have it with a chip in it. so i was thinking of doing so, but was looking around about how i would to be able to flash the chip once its on there. does the wiikey need to be flashed once its installed? or is it pre flashed. wondering if there is a site that is directed to this question.
thanks

You need use one of the small list of LG DVD-ROM drives to back-up Wii games.  You can use any DVD writer to burn the back-up games.  Supposedly the LG DVD-ROM drives are similar to the ones that are actually in the Wii consoles.

I can personally.. and highly recommend www.OTBMODS.com for fast, courteous and quality service. I've gotten chips from him. Later, I got more chips. I was impressed enough by his speed and pricing that I said fuck it, and had him simply do some premods for me, saving me some time. Appleguru is da' man.
