Good stuff man.

Having to download/open the guides is a little inconvenient.. but I don't think that particularly matters.

You also don't have any sites listed in your shame section.. I think you should have found/listed some before launching the site.

And you should take the picture of the Wii (in your banner.. top left) and flip it so that it's facing the other way. lol.

We decided to launch the site even with an empty shame sections, because the guides on the site are the most important thing to get out to people. Things like knowing which version wiikey you have, and if you were sold a clone etc.

We have already tested some shops by buying a single wiikey from them to check if its original or not, so far the shops we have tested are all original.

People are welcome to send us photos of the wiikey they bought to verify that it is an original. So hopefully once the site is a little more known we will pickup on some of the dodgy stores selling clones as originals.

Perhaps you should list those "good" stores/sites as well. I've seen some good looking sites with shady prices.

I'll be getting a Wiikey in Saturday... I'll probably post a picture of it in this thread.. or if X-S has a problem with that.. I'll contact you to verify its authentication. I bought it off of my friend but the site that he got it from.. idk.

I don't wanna link the site here because the price is really fishy.

Yeah I thought about listing the good stores. But then they could start to sell clones down the track and we would not know unless they were reported. So I decided just to list the ones caught selling clones as originals.

Make sure your getting the sticker with it, that's one of the better ways to make sure your getting the real thing. So far I have not heard of any clone wiikey stickers getting around.

If you planing on directly soldering the chip and not using wires, the v4 lets the solder flow much better then earlier models. If they are coming with the sticker, you have a good chance its a v4. Only v3 & v4 came with the stickers.

Email us over the photo tho and we can check it for you. wink.gif

Will do. I don't think it has the sticker though.. I believe it was purchased long before the stickers started being used. Not sure though.
