nice pulsevu install.

As for how it works...well, it'll fade while the Wii is off. While the Wii is on, it will be music reactive (aka- Every time a sound comes out of the Wii, the light will turn on...if you play music, it'll dance to it). If you have a message (and your Wii is off), the lightbar will pulsate twice...hard to describe. You'd have to see that for yourself to understand. Umm, lets see..you can use the Reset button to disable the PulseVU.. and yeah, I think that's just about it. Perhaps sick or pablot will elaborate.

As for the solder point that standing straight up...it may be a problem. Check to see if it's "higher" then any other components on the motherboard..and check to see if it'll touch anything when back together.

As for wiring LEDs, sickmods.net has a tutorial for wiring LEDs- link

There are other tutorials for wiring LEDs in the Xbox 360 Hardware/Case Modding forum pinned topic "Tutorials, FAQs, etc" (or whatever the pinned thread is called)

Here's a pic of my PulseVU install  smile.gif

More pictures- link

EDIT- why is your pulsevu different than mine!??!

cuz i am cool like that....that thing that is stand up is a resistor not just a wire...and i dont hav the wii connect 24, but it still works ooooo owwwwww i must just be special like that..

and i know how to wure leds i just dont know how to hook it up to the pulse uv

i hate people that do that.

SN it's because he has one of the early prototype ones (notice "PROTOTYPE" on the top)

when SD and pablot first came up with it they offered members who expressed interest in it the chance to buy a prototype one and, beta test it i suppose.

i couldnt afford at the time sad.gif

or am i thinking of the fader? laugh.gif

But my Scottish dawg...He just got his pulsevu a couple days ago..I got mine monthssss ago!

It must be some new prototype...perhaps they moved that silly pad from the bottom of the original (my model) pulsevu to the top of the new (his model) pulsevu.. Or maybe it just does more..if it does, then damn it sickdimension, hook a g up  cool.gif

doh i totally forgot i was in wii section when i was typing, regardless...i hate people who do that laugh.gif

Well, as the current gen PulseVU for Wii is sold out, you can imagine more will be coming soon, and since we're making more, we might as well make some improvements.  smile.gif

There'll be an official announcement soon.  ph34r.gif

Waw! Looks great! I'm saving up for a wii (invested too much in 360  tongue.gif ), might mod it then. Maybe some watercooling  biggrin.gif

Anyway, love the color+leds. Are you going to change something inside (fanduct etc.) to make the insides look better? Any ideas of changing the fan to a ledfan? What size is the fan?

there is no fan duck and the fan is like 1 inch be 1 inch or something

Try to get 99% Isopropyl. 70% would work, but the higher the better.
