Just thought I'd put this out there for anyone considering getting this chip. The only thing I have ever soldered before this was in my friends xbox a wire came loose on his executer 2.6 and I redid that one wire for him with a piece of shit cold solder gun. I literally stopped at Radio Shack on my way home from picking up my chip at DHL to buy a soldering iron and and the other stuff I needed to do this and just got done and everything works fine. It's a super easy chip to install. Don't be intimidated by the small and close together points, just take your time and be careful with it. I did the wired install because I read a lot about people having problems with their chips lining up right and that it was easier. My chip seemed to line up just fine, but I used wires anyway.
