It will be interesting to see what Nintendo reports when their fiscal year ends at the end of this month to see if these numbers are correct. Its remarkable that they may have sold 2/3 as many consoles as the 360 in about 1/4 the time!
http://play.tm/story/9925Also there are reports that since Nintendo has met their sales goals for the year, they are holding off shipments and will be releasing a rather lage wave of shipments in April so the sales go on next years books instead.
While sales numbers do not mean a console is great, they do lure in new developers and/or exclusive titles giving more options to the gamer generally making them more satisfied.
