Nyko Wireless Sensor Bar!
« on: March 08, 2007, 08:56:00 PM »

it seems pretty cool, only $20 and it runs on 4 AA batteries (included)
It claims to have a 24ft rang but I found that to be not true (Same for the 15ftish rang for the original sensor bar, so it might just be my room) but I like it over all cause I can rest it on my footboard and just point my wiimote that way instead of at my tv so that I can kick back in bed and play without getting up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

got it at a Software Ect. btw

Is there a plug for an AC adapter?  I want to move my wii into my movie room which has a projector.  The problem is, I prefer to have the wii at the back of the room with the rest of the hardware.  One of these wireless sensor bars would work great bu I do not want to be replacing batteries that often on it.

Takes two AAs, works pretty well.

Plus, I can bring the country to its knees if I attach it to a bridge in Boston!  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

that bat life seems to be good, and you could always rig up a external powersource port easy and get a 5 or 6v dv transformer with the same sized conector that you installed to power it

P.S.
Tesla kicks ass
