Wii Controller Mod (pt. 3)
« on: January 17, 2007, 10:18:00 PM »

why don't you explain what you have done so that other can try it too? It's all good that you do fun and interesting stuff with the wii mote, but please.. share the info about it..

and on the teasers.. I don't think people understood what was happening, thus no nice comments. All I saw was some randomly blinking LEDs.. This clears it up though.

really, there isn't that much new info if you think about it
changing some surface mount leds, wiring some around the clear a button connected to the player lights, and wireing some from the player status leds

and the recharge bat is probably hooked up to a relay so that when power goes in, it switches to providing the rechargable bat with power

the plug that plugs into the controller unscrew, so that bit can be nice nice and tidy too

So I guess me paying $0 to do this mod is pointless? I guess I should wait to spend $30 as opposed to free?

On the subject "hard to find" :

kids or adults like you are the reason why i cant find any.

free....?????if u think about it, you spent 20 bucks for that mod, maybe more. 20 bucks for the nunchucks you destroyed...and whatever it cost for the battery and parts for there.

so your "free" mod wasnt free.

You gotta break some eggs if you want to make an omelet. Who cares what it costs.

Sir Crx, thats a cool mod. How can you be sure the battery wont over-charge.
Is there a built in cut-off in the ipod battery or do you need something else?

Also, using that battery, you have more room in there so maybe you could put a better
speaker in there to replace the stock one.

Is th ipod battery NiMH, NiCd or lithium ion?

Sweet mod man! I still don't know why there isn't a Blue LED on the A button already.
