It may be that the 'chuk doesn't pull much power from the Wiimote, and putting LEDs in may not be possible.

On that note, has anyone mapped the pinout of the Wiimote port?

Since when does clear buttons pull to much power???

@ Sir Crx
I was thinking about how hard it would be to do some kind of southpaw mod for the classic controller. But I haven't used it in any vc games that actually uses both sticks. I am still trying to figure out a mod you could do to the nunchuk  huh.gif Maybe I will paint one. Or put a plexi glass window in one tongue.gif

@ace:

I meant that the device itself, be it nunchuk or classic controller, probably doesn't draw a lot of power from the Wiimote.  This would mean that putting LEDs into it would be difficult because you would have few or no places to draw the current from.

That said, I may be totally wrong and it gets lots of power, in which case I can't wait to make some sexy buttons ;p

Oo ok gotcha. Well im sure(not really) that they draw enough power and if not well then just slap a (mm what were those little things called that increase the power output of something by a little bit, well im just going to say transistor) a transistor and there yah go. Or there might be just enough and there wont be any need for a resistor which will be one less thing to worry about.

my bet is that the clasic and nunchuck draw ~3v from the wiimote
just cause the device is small doesn't mean that the voltage going into it would be less, it just means that it will make lesws of an impact on that batteries
