Hold the phone- I think I discovered the issue (at least as I am having it) with my Wii controllers suddenly flashing 4 led's and not working.
From looking at it, it looks like the button on the back of the controller sticks out just enough that when you grip it tightly such as swinging at fastballs, you end up pushing the little reset button. The controller then thinks to itself "BIRD!" and completely forgets what it was doing.
I have made little donuts using a new pencil eraser that I drilled out and sliced thin to keep the button "indented", I then taped it on and slipped the gummi cover (those things creep me out) back over it.
I can feel where the little eraser donut is, but it doesn't affect use at all. I'll try it for a while and see if the problem disappears. If it does, it's a real low-tech solution.
