I bought mine through Gamestop and they had some sort of deal where if it breaks in the first 90 days of owning the console, you take it back and they give you another one, No dealing with Shipping it off or phone calls.  That's what I was referring to.

MY TRIWING SCREWDRIVER DEALY ARRIVED TODAY!

background story- So, after a LONG day of walking around the town, hitting up the shops and what not for some last minute shopping, and watching a movie (Night at the Museum), I was ub3r (I love how firefox says that "ub3r" isn't misspelled) tired..I get home, walk into my fathers room, have a quick conversation, and out of nowhere he says "Oh yeah, your screwdriver is in the kitchen." I sprinted downstairs in excitement and grabbed the screwdriver..I ran back up stairs into my room..grabbed my Wii..threw it onto my bed, and pulled up a "Disassembly Tutorial." After like 40min of trying to figure out how to take this damn thing apart...I take the mobo into my modding room..and that's where all the fun began  cool.gif

Before the pics begin, please keep in mind I was very tired, and the soldering job is CRAP. But hey, it works!

Video of it in action (26mb...took forever to upload..especially at the ub3r speed of 10kb/s)- link

I'd like to say thanks to sickdimension and pablot for a SICK product.

Cheers!

p.s. I had no idea where to stick the pulseVU, so I kinda just stuck it in the corner..
p.p.s. That MP pad is pretty inconvenient (being on the back and what not)..and soldering to the "under-board" spot was not fun! lol
p.p.p.s. How am I suppose to tell if I have a message or not  laugh.gif

Yes, who needs to be safe with electrical tape when blue masking tape is oh so much fun, lol.
Once I find a Wii in this dump of a city, I will buy a PulseVU and a Fader 360, but all I can find are PS3's. sleeping.gif

would i be corect to assume the a spst switch on either (-) or vcc will disable the chip and keep in in factory default mode? just dont like doing mu;ch modding unless its easy to put back to factory default state.

There's no need to install a switch. We use the Reset button as a switch. Simply hold that button for 4 seconds and the PulseVU is disabled and it acts like it is fully stock.
