would rather want. The idea that get the most votes will be the one that I go with. Now that

are as follows:

Ninteno Wii with a portable Car Gps built into it.
Ninteno Wii turned into a external hard for use with your PC, xbox360 or PS3
Nintendo Wii turned wireless router
Nintendo Wii turned into a portable Projecter

Those are the ideas and now for you guys to give your in put. Thanks for looking and I cant

I have an idea! Why not just use it for what its best for a Game console..... its not another game consoles HDD or Router, or Projector.... its Equal to any other system out there and should get the respect it deserves.... its sad enough that it don't have its own scene site, Link on top forums like others do etc.... Its a hell of a system respect it... no i am not a fanboy i just hate that everyone disrespects such a great piece of hardware and thinks its a lesser then the other 2 that are out and god knows its just as capable and as fun if not more so then the ps3 or xbox360

I agree but there are just more people interested in the PS3 on this board then there are people interested in the Wii

It took me nearly 2 weeks of PMing people who I thought might be interested in seeing a dedicated Wii forum to vote their support just to get this forum instead of Wii topics being limited to  "other consoles" forum.

and it only needed 10 votes  sad.gif

the PS3 forums have about 6 times the topics and 6 times the replies then this little Wii forum does too. I suppose they're more visible but even still.

I am in no why dissing the wii I think it s a great system I was looking at price wise and the size. The Wii with a projector and the wii with a gps are ones that could be done to the system so that its still the system and the extra. I just dont see spending $500 for a syatem just to tear it apart, I mean dont get me wrong I think what bigjimmy did was really cool but $500 is about all I'd want to spend on a project in total.

Well ok Ithink that I will go for either a built in HDD or maybe a built in project for those that have a hard time getting the system plugged in to there tv or when friends show up for some muliterplayer games and you only have a little 25" tv. So how many votes for the built in hdd and how many for a built in projector.

You think it would be possible to do something like a RAM upgrade with it like the xbox?

No, there are no free ram slots. And further more, all ram chips (most at least) now days are bga, and you can't just solder those like normal chips.

Very interesting ideas huh.gif They will be very original of you follow through with any. I doubt the projector would work but the router is deffinitely possible.

P.S. I took the liberty of starting my own forum and having Wii sections in it.

How about classic controllers that plug into the USB/GC ports instead of the wiimote. I hate having the cord connected to the remote. GC could be done by gutting a classic and putting in a GC board. USB would probably require drivers/homebrew.

Anyone put a window on the right side(top side w/o stand) to see the game spinning? Light that up with the disk drive lighting would be nice. Maybe put the lighting on a switch for on/normal mode for showing off purposes.
