Uh, well, like I said in the previous thread my cables were supposed to arrive today and they did.

There is indeed a difference between the component and stock cables. And it's defiently noticeable. Right off the bat the dash was just really sharp and well, good looking. I popped in Zelda and there was a definite improvement. I was sort of dissapointed in the quality of stock, maybe because I was so used to my 360 in HD, so when I was playing Zelda in HD I was defiently pleased. There's alot more detail, the images are sharper and more defined. If $30 isn't going to break the bank it's worth the buy. I mean, it is video games, one major part of video games is picture and display, so why not?

well yea but i mean ur only running at 480p not the 720p so the thing i was saying is.... no need for a 720p tv.... just a 480p.... yes it will look better with the new cables but as stated that is cause it is now operating at 480p....

This is true.  No matter what cables you have, the wii can run at 480p MAX.  Even if your TV supports up to 720p, though, the picture will be improved by using the component cables (running at 480p).  To sum up, if you have available component inputs on your tv, get the component cables...you won't be sorry (at least I wasn't).
