I've seen a few posts over the internet claiming that the Wiimote can communicate with a PC bluetooth connection, but the Wiimote has a passkey. I'll try it out myself once the Wii gets to Europe. Feel free to try it out yourselves if you have bluetooth connections. Maybe one day we'll have the ability to use a Wiimote as a PC mouse (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

My phone connected to it no problem

but the second i try my laptop. it wont even find the device !

They have gained connectivity between a PC and the Wiimote, but nothing can be done of course without drivers.

for your laptop to find it try holding down the 1 and 2 buttons while you search this should make the wii mote visible to a computer with blue tooth.

I have gotten it to work for my laptop now , but i cant get passed the passkey ( i hear it dosent need one ? )
