« on: November 23, 2006, 12:20:00 AM »

and then i get password screen.

my question is.. if there was no FTP, would it still ask for user and pass?

Interesting. Remember that Connect24 is designed so that you are always connected to the internet and Nintendo can send you updates rather then you going and downloading them. I'm guessing this is how they do it? smile.gif

I don't think it would move to the password stage.  Shouldn't it give you an error that the path doesn't exist?

try the IE FTP app or some others.. maybe Flash FXP just has it built in that it auto asks for a user/password?

Try brute forcing the password..
What I'm curious about is what the FTP gives access to in the first place. Kinda creepy that People could have  access to all the pictures/files on my SD card ph34r.gif

Soon as I get my wii, I'll be doing quite a bit of sniffing.
