Yeah so Im moving backwards now. With the chip in normal mode, it FRAGs. In Recovery mode, it FRAO's. The fire burnt up a few of the TSOP's pads, but I thought they just connected the legs to the via's?

And the D0 wouldnt shut the TSOP off, just bypass it (switching the address lines from reading from the TSOP to reading from the LPC - still leaving the TSOP powered up), or at least thats how I understood it.

Ahwell, I guess Ill keep it for parts. If I ever get another Xbox (got a v1.6 along with it, just had to chip it & toss in a new HD), Ill use the RAM off the dead board. Thanks for all the help guys! If you need any parts off a broken mobo, give me a shout!

Haha, sorry bud, I threw it out. The heat of the fire charred a few leads, and they fell off when I picked it up. All the other parts are fine though smile.gif
