Psp Emulation
« on: June 05, 2006, 03:15:00 PM »

Ok so I downgraded my PSP's Firmware to 1.5 this last Friday.   I spent the past weekend getting emulators working on it.  NES and Genesis work great, however the SNES emulation is absolutely horrid.  Can anyone tell me what EMU they are using for SNES emulation and if it actually works well.
Also where are we at regarding GBA emulation?  Last I heard we don't have an EMU that emulates well enough to play anything.
Also does anyone know if MAME is even worth putting on the PSP at this point?

Any help would be great, I'm new to the PSP scene.

I'm new to that scene too as of last night when I heard of the new modchip.  Yet 24 hours later I still know as little about the PSP scene and its available emulators.  The scene seems composed mainly of innuendo, hearsay, and rumor, in equal parts.  Talk of an N64 emulator has me scratching my head as to why an SNES emulator would be horrible on the machine...perhaps they port nonworking software to the device in order to boast of prowess?  Or what?  Do they make adaptors that turn the memory slot into a fat SD slot?
