Try using Fanjita's latest eLoader.

My PSP has recently been updated to 2.60 firmware, but Grand Theft Auto still seems to play decently.

I don't know why I was thinking of it as homebrew, but the eLoader will not allow you to play Grand Theft Auto using 1.5 firmware. Having over fifteen windows open can sometimes lead to confusion, especially in this case!

It's good to see that you found a solution, though  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
