I sold my PSP about 8 months ago. It was fun for about a week or two then i sat in drawer for a couple of months till i put it up on Ebay. I didn't like it much. I play my DS way more. It has better titles smile.gif

Well, actually you missed al the fun! Daxter and GTA LCS are top games, and Loco Roco is going to be awesome. You sold it when there weren't even good games for it, now it's time to enjoy this peace of hardware...

It's just a progammable chip manufacturer, it sells blank chips, nothing on them.

That's all I meant...to show that it is a legit company that sells flashable chips. Hopefully all works out & this is truely a good Mod-chip.

well, of course..

Actel has made flash memory chips for years..  they are on alot of different xbox chips...

What makes me wonder about it is the fact that it looks exactly like the main PS2 moschips the dx.... whatever its called.  I mean, its almost identical to the point where if you look in that updates photo, you can see that this chip os allready used and wornout.

Also, look at the psp next to it for size difference..... the chip is pretty big compared to just the screen of the psp....

I really hope this is real.
I got stuck with a new 2.7 psp and would love to be able to play my SNES and NES games on the go.

99% fake imo. there's just no space inside the psp to install even a mini pcb. remember devil360. in few weeks we will also have prove of that scam.

well, i'm happy i have 1.5 already to be honest. hope for you guys it is true. but don't get your hopes already up.

while there is not a whole lot of space inside the psp, there is enough space to jam some shit in there. such as the guy who slapped an itrip into his psp

http://www.hackaday....34000287047320/

for those of you who never played with your psp's, sure it didn't have a whole lot of great games after release, but there are some good ones out now. and when I first got mine, i set it up for emulators. My psp was a my portable nes/snes/sega genesis. it was great being able to play some of the greatest games of yesteryear. now that my psp has been updated so that i can play gta and metal gear a!cd 2, my homebrew days are over. but this psp mod-chip has given me new hope

but it would be nice to be able to switch between the 2 so i can play the latest games.
I agree. I feel that the choice to switch between firmwares is almost a necessity.

Come on guys, you really think that chip can hold 16+ mb's of info?
All the psp firmwares I have seen are around 16 megs.  On the chips website nothing indicates that it can hold that much ammount of storage.
