Not really Xbox(360) news, but looks like the Sony PSP is getting its first hardware modchip. Here's the info we received:

Here's a picture of U.P. (Undiluted Platinum), a flash replacement system for the PSP which allows the use of previous flash updates or custom flash builds. Installation has been optimized to fit entirely inside PSP, this opens up the possibility to run unsigned Homebrew code on the latest PSP systems. More info will be available next week.

if this seriously works this is GR8 news!!! Especially if we can put our own firmwares as mentionned.... Some people could easily develop some kind of XBMC dash that would be 10000 times better than what sony currently offers!

I really hope this is a no solder mod and that you don't have to mess w/ the screen area, since it can get dust in it. Finally we can start seeing some hacked firmwares I hope.

Sweet, recently got back into my psp so im excited about this, funny how this is only posted at X-S as the few psp sites i just glanced at dont mention this at all. solder or no solder i think im gonna grab it, custom firm would be awsome. Nice but were do you plug-in/solder? Also, I hope it will have miltuple firmware features so you can keep a homebrew compatible firmware and the lastest one!
